Signets are consumables that improve character's prowess or his quality of life. Monsters drop signets on every difficulty.

Only the Signet of Learning can be dropped by monsters. The others are created with the Horadric Cube.
A Signet of Learning can also be obtained by transmuting an unique accessory (amulet or ring), a sacred unique item or a set item with a Catalyst of Learning in the Horadric Cube.

The Signet of Skill is dropped by the Inquisitor of the Triune, and only one can be consumed by a character.

Note : The Signet of Gold a new character starts with is different than the one with the same name above. It gives 1500 gold pieces, no matter the character's level.
Farming[]
Signets of Learning[]
- Nihlathak always drops Signets of Learning when he dies, on Terror (1) and on Destruction (2) difficulty. Getting to him is difficult because the dungeon below his temple is crawling with elite monsters. Melee builds can have a hard time in this dungeon because of the Razor Fur Titan's thorn aura. That's why a ranged build is recommended for this method. Also, killing Nihlathak is a quick way to get arcane shards.
- The Amazon Warriors in Tran Athulua have an increased chance to drop unique items. With high enough magic find (400% and more), they drop plenty of sacred unique (Destruction only) and set items (Terror and Destruction) that can be used to obtain Signets of Learning. On Destruction difficulty, beware the arrowside proc unleashed sometimes by the Amazon Warriors when they die. The flurry of arrows can kill your character very easily.
- On Hell difficulty, Mephisto and Diablo always drop unique items. Among them, a few might be sacred. This method is not the quickest, but it is convenient for weak builds.
Other Signets[]
There is no better area to farm signets (except for Signets of Learning) than the Torajan Jungles, since the enemies have an increased chance to drop them.
