Potions are consumables that help the character in different ways, either in battle or outside of battle.

Healing Potions
Healing potions replenish a character's life over time and cure the poison. They are sold by town vendors in each act and the enemies drop them fairly often.
Those potions should not used as a main source of life regeneration, but only in emergency case.

Mana Potions
Mana potions replenish a character's mana over time by increasing his mana regeneration. They are sold by town vendors in each act and the enemies drop them fairly often.
Those potions are less useful than the healing potions, because the character's mana pool regenerates itself. The more mana a character has, the faster his natural regeneration is.

Rejuvenation Potions
Rejuvenation potions refill 100% of health and increase the mana regeneration. No vendors sell them. The only way to get them is to kill enemies and open the containers.

Belladonna Extract
Belladonna Extract is randomly dropped mostly anywhere in the game, being more biased towards to higher area levels. It is the rarest potion and the only way to reset stat and skills points, in addition to Akara's reward for clearing the Den of Evil.
