Would you be interested in having Special:Community enabled on your wiki? It adds a "Community Page", with a link to it under the "Explore" menu.
The Community Page provides a good starting point for would-be editors, and includes stuff like an admin list, help links, and wanted pages, and you can add things like wiki policies, to-do lists, etc. You can read more about it at Help:Community Page. If you'd like to see how it looks in practice, here are some wikis that are using it:
Hello, I'm Flanqer, and I'm the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Median XL Wiki. I introduced myself in Discussions, but wanted to drop you a personal message since you're one of the admins. I'm here to help your community, and to be a liaison to full-time Fandom Staff. If you ever have any questions related to the wiki, whether it's about editing, styling, infoboxes, policy, etc, please contact me on my message wall.
I have not been using game files. Baseline Skill stats (no specifics) I literally just get the item with the particular skill on it (unless it's a class skill) and copy the stats down. The gifs I record myself. For monster information mostly just observing the monsters. Any monster stats like health and resists you would need to ask Mortenkein about because I have no clue.
