Flayer Jungle

The Flayer Jungle is a jungle zone in Act III. The zone can be accessed from both the Spider Forest and the Great Marsh, and connects to Lower Kurast, whose entrance is guarded by a pack of Deathfire Bearers led by the superunique The Vizier.

Somewhere in the Flayer Jungle lies the entrance into the Flayer Dungeon. Players need to explore the maze-like dungeon in order to obtain Khalim's Brain. The optional dungeon Swampy Pit, which leads to the uberlevels Proving Grounds and Vizjun is located there. The waypoint of the Flayer Jungle is always located near the Swampy Pit.

On Hell difficulty, killing the Vizier opens a portal to Caldeum, an uberquest hub in Act III.
